3rd BBNJ Symposium

The BBNJ (Biodiversity Beyond National Jurisdiction) symposium is the expert conference on the so-called “High Seas Treaty”. The focus here is on exchanging information on scientific and governance-related aspects of the new High Seas Treaty, including high seas protected areas, environmental assessments, and capacity building.
